My Favorite Things Outside the Box Level Up
Other - Black Soot Distress Ink; Park Lane gem
Besides the poinsettia die set, I was determined to use a My Favorite Things box card die set I recently ordered. This is my first card with it &, in fact, my first box card ever!! I love how it turned out. In retrospect I should've layered my Merry letters - they are rather flimsy at one layer, even with heavyweight cardstock. I'll try to fix them later... ** Update - As Arlene suggested, I put a piece of acetate behind the Merry - worked perfectly. Thanks Arlene!!
Here are a couple more views of it:
I'll also add my box card to Darnell's October NBUS Challenge since my Level Up set got first play today. And by the way, Mount NBUS has become Mount Everest NBUS - yikes, I think my crafty supplies are multiplying overnight - LOL. Oh well, thanks for the continued encouragement to use it all, Darnell.
I plan to make more of these box cards - so fun and easy! Thanks for visiting and have a crafty day!!

Beautifully done, Linda this is amazing!
WOW! That bosx card is absolutely amazing, Linda.
I love it. What a great way to use that new die set. Maybe you can use acrylic behind the "MERRY" letters for more stability. An idea.
I love how this turned out! WOW
what a great job you've done on your first box card. It's gorgeous.
This makes a very special presentation, Linda! Beautiful work!
What a jaw dropper, Linda! This is just stunning and I love the details you've included. I've not been brave enough to try a box card as yet - perhaps that's something for the future. Thanks for getting us started at Christmas Kickstart this month, Jo x
Wow this is so gorgeous!
Oh Linda that is one spectacular card for sure. I have a couple of the out of the box dies, this one might be next on the list.
Oh wow this card is amazing and for the christmas time a very special eyecatcher!!!
One to treasure for the lucky recipient Linda, absolutely gorgeous with all that beautiful detail!
A fabulous Christmas make! Love the layered poinsettia. Thank you for sharing at NBUS.
You make it all sound SO simple, Linda, but you can't kid me, you put a lot of work into this glorious Christmas box card!! Wow! I love poinsettia stamps, dies, and stencils, so your layered beauties make my heart happy. Thank you for inspiring everyone at NBUS! Hugs, Darnell
p.s. Congratulations on the well-deserved win at the final CAS Christmas Challenge!
Gorgeous! Love it in the box card form. I can see why this is a favourite.
I don't make box cards, but love seeing them! This is beautiful!
Wow - what a card! Wonderful construction.
I think a box card is beautiful for Christmas, and this is a wonderful example! So festive and pretty.

Your poinsettia box card is beautiful. You did a great job with it, can't believe it is your first box card. TFS
Wow, your card is beautiful! Such a talented lady!
Love your box card. Well done; I haven't been brave enough to try one, yet.
Was just admiring all the Poinsettia beauties in the Christmas Kickstart gallery, and had to stop by for a closer look at your box card Linda...it's FABULOUS!! I've had the dies for a couple years to make the box cards, but haven't used it since I got it...might have to rectify that now that I've seen your gorgeous card with all the layered Poinsettia's! I think it's the prettiest card in the gallery and there are lots of beauties there! Well done Linda!! Hugs. :0)
