Amazing Things Floral Spray

Hi all - thought I'd play along at Just Us Girls #781 where it's Stencil Week. It's also S is for Stencil at Darnell's IDEAS program - 5th Monday of June yesterday. I pulled out a Pinkfresh Studio press plate with coordinating stencils:

I pressed the floral spray and sentiment, then stenciled and die cut. Formed an A2 card from cardstock and stenciled a partial brick wall to the left side. Added the spray with some foam tape and adhered the sentiment backed with a shadow. Some gems finished the card.

I'll also play at the Pinkfresh Studio July Challenge which has a mood board for inspiration but is always Anything Goes with PFS as the focal point.

Framed Blooming Grace

Hey friends - TGIF!! I'm back with a stenciled card I made last night with two challenges in mind - Just Us Girls Anything Goes Stencil Week #776 and the May Pinkfresh Studio Challenge Frame it Up.

I popped over to my favorite local craft store Anchor Paper yesterday & found they have a May special on PFS products. I picked up a circle frame die set and the coordinating pieces of the Blooming Grace set. Perfect for both challenges and I thank my Diva teamie Cindy who inspired & enabled me on the circle frame with her beautiful card.

First I stamped, stenciled and die cut half of the Blooming Grace elements. Next I die cut the largest of the Elegant Circle Frames. I arranged three of the BG elements on & under the frame. I added it to a stitched rectangle on an A2 card. I had inked the rectangle's edges and stenciled some dots in a couple corners. 

I wanted another frame to focus the sentiment so cut the smallest circle. Added it to the large blossom spray. Stamped a sentiment from the BG set, fussy cut it and added it to the small frame. Done!

I'll also add my card to Darnell's May NBUS Challenge #74 since my Blooming Grace is new.

Amazing Things Thank You Card

Hi everyone - hope you had a wonderful weekend! I had some time to make a card before I tackled yard work. Decided to use a stencil set & make my second card for Just Us Girls #750 where it's stencil week.

Tropical Florals (retired but HERE at Frantic Stamper);

I pressed the floral stem and both sentiments onto porcelain paper, then stenciled. The coordinating PFS stencil set contains 5 stencils - three for petals and 2 for leaves; very quick and easy! Here's a process photo with the inks; I use my MISTI for stenciling - the magnets hold the stencils in place.

Next I die cut the floral stem and sentiments with the coordinating dies. Die cut a brick patterned paper with a stitched rectangle & adhered to an A2 card. Die cut a couple jumbo leaves to fill in behind the floral stem & a label for the sentiment to land. Assembled and done.

And I'll also play at the Pinkfresh Studio October 2024 Challenge where they're doing ink blending (which includes layering stencils!). You don't have to use all the colors shown in the mood board.

A Stamped Floral Wreath

Hi all - busy Sunday but I managed to finish a card for some challenges:

I die cut 2 layers of the PFS Folk Edge Rectangles set (love!) & adhered to an A2 card. I stamped and die cut the PFS English Garden image which results in many pieces. I colored them with Copics (G00,02,05,09/Y08,18/YR09,16) and arranged the wreath along with one flower cluster, the leafy stem, & butterfly atop. Added a pressed sentiment and some gems - done! The orange paper with white dots came wrapped around as packaging when I ordered some Birch Press woodgrain paper - I always save it; comes in handy!!

Above I tried my hand at a more artful photo with some supplies, as many people do. What do you think? Here's a view from closer up:

It's been a while, so I decided to make this card for The Flower Challenge #95 where we're to include a stamped flower. It also works for the September Pinkfresh Studio Challenge where they're doing Leaves & Wreaths. Also for the We Love Stamping September Challenge to hand color an image & Inkspirational #324 where they're using markers. Thanks for the fun challenges!!

An Anything Goes Monday!

I mentioned back in July that I'd found the PFS English Garden still available at my local store and finally dove in (see a card with the stamps & stencils HERE). It's retired at PFS but I see Frantic Stamper still has the stamps & dies HERE. 

I'd added the washi to a piece of Neenah & cut a bunch of pieces & made a birthday card which I'll share next. The floral clusters above were leftovers. If desired, you can see a card HERE made with some English Garden washi pieces that Lisa (My Paper Tales) sent me last year; she enabled me!

The washi pieces were sitting atop a piece of cardstock I'd embossed with the TH Cobblestone folder. I wanted to cut it down with the Folk Edge die which flattened the 3D texture but I didn't really care. I could've re-embossed it but I was too lazy! You can see the 3D texture on the next card.

This card went to my sister Tami who has a bday this week. The die cut birthday and the printed HAPPY were in my sentiments box - brand unknown.

I'm entering card one in the August Pinkfresh Studio Challenge to use washi. You don't have to use the colors in their photo; that's one option.

Holiday Elements - Washi and Stenciled

Hi everyone - I hope your week is going well. I was inspired by friend Greta's beautiful card to plan something for the August Pinkfresh Studio Challenge. It's been a few years since I played over there - how time flies!!

I don't have a huge collection of PFS in my stash but had picked up the English Garden washi/stamp/stencil/die collection locally. I haven't shared the washi version on my blog yet (stenciled one HERE) but I made it in July so didn't want to send it to the challenge. Decided instead to order something from PFS & found their Holiday Elements collection on sale - yay! They didn't have the die in stock but I found one at Frantic Stamper. Just received my orders in the mail this week so gave Holiday Elements first play. Here's the washi version:

Hot Foil Plate with Die - Spellbinders All You Need Sentiments

I rolled the washi out onto a piece of Neenah, then die cut. Also die cut the shapes from another piece and layered for stability & dimension. Next I die cut two layers of the folk art set and adhered to an A2 card. Arranged the elements and adhered. Could not for the life of me find my foiled PFS holiday sentiments so added a Betterpressed one (made with a hot foil plate). LOL - the only item from the die cut selection that I didn't use was the mistletoe sprig!

I didn't do any additional shading, just stamped and stenciled, then die cut. This time I just used one of the Folk Edge layer dies on a piece of canvas patterned paper. While I love the gold & shimmer of the washi, I really enjoy stenciling this set! Looking at it, it could use some shading so I may add some later... Since this set is new, I'll also add my card to Darnell's August NBUS Challenge #65.

Rainbow colors

Hey friends - another gloomy day here but rainbow colors brightened it up for me! The September challenge at Pink Fresh Studio is Rainbows and I decided to play along using the amazing PFS Floral Circles die set. Here's my card:

I spotted my friend Greta's beautiful entry to the Pink Fresh Studio challenge and she inspired me to give it a try. I own exactly one PFS set (first of many, I'm sure) and decided the delicate circles would be gorgeous in rainbow colored glitter paper on a slimline card. I used sequins to tie the circles together and some fun premade sentiment strips. The inside of the card will have a happy birthday message. Done!
