March 2022 Card Chain Reveal

Another month of 2022 just flew by! It's already time to reveal cards that went around the world for the March Card Chain Challenge. Thirty people participated by making/sending one card and receiving one card. My card went to dear Debbie (Secrets to Stamping) in Michigan; you can see the entire chain HERE.

Supplies: Paper - Michael's green;
Momenta Watercolor print
My Favorite Things Petite Gingham
Horizon Empossed Scrapbook Paper
Dies - Impression Obsession Fancy Shamrock;
Picket Fence Studios Slim Line Scalloped Frames;
A Jillian Vance Design Stitched Dot Rectangle Backdrop
Embossing Folder - Stampin' Up Subtle (retired)
Other - Pink & Main emamel dots

I met Debbie online through another card-making challenge blog & discovered she's a Stampin' Up consultant. Couldn't resist placing an order with her for some SU goodies, including the Subtle embossing folder. I'm glad she found time to join the Card Chain!

Once again I've used the colors and the sketch. Since "shamrock" is one of the colors, I couldn't resist using shamrock pieces for the sketch's circle elements. This isn't a St Patrick's Day card, though, since neither Debbie nor I celebrate it. I just love the shamrocks made of hearts!

I really liked the triple sentiment idea and went with 3 die cuts from the same Picket Fence Studios set. I die cut them twice for dimension and a third time for a shadow. The top layer was embossed with the Subtle pattern. The paper for the spice layer came embossed - got it years ago in the Target "Hot Spot".  I die cut it with a dot stitched rectangle and it held the pattern well.

I received this darling card from Jo (Just a Dotty Pudding) in the UK. Thanks Jo!! Don't you just love the barnyard quartet? I'm lucky to have met Jo through various challenges she hosts, including Christmas Kickstart and Let's Squash It!! where I'm a devoted player, plus the Card Chain Challenge - busy lady!!

You can still join us for the April 2022 Chain - just go HERE to sign up by April 6th. Thanks for visiting and have a crafty day!!

I love how you've used the colors here - the pink gingham is so pretty behind your brown panel and the die cut green heart/clovers add a nice punch of color! xx

I love the shamrocks! It's such a fun card. My mother in law adores cows so I am just tickled by the one you received as well. It's so hard not to want to buy ALL the stamps...
