I met Debbie online through another card-making challenge blog & discovered she's a Stampin' Up consultant. Couldn't resist placing an order with her for some SU goodies, including the Subtle embossing folder. I'm glad she found time to join the Card Chain!
Once again I've used the colors and the sketch. Since "shamrock" is one of the colors, I couldn't resist using shamrock pieces for the sketch's circle elements. This isn't a St Patrick's Day card, though, since neither Debbie nor I celebrate it. I just love the shamrocks made of hearts!
I really liked the triple sentiment idea and went with 3 die cuts from the same Picket Fence Studios set. I die cut them twice for dimension and a third time for a shadow. The top layer was embossed with the Subtle pattern. The paper for the spice layer came embossed - got it years ago in the Target "Hot Spot". I die cut it with a dot stitched rectangle and it held the pattern well.
I received this darling card from Jo (Just a Dotty Pudding) in the UK. Thanks Jo!! Don't you just love the barnyard quartet? I'm lucky to have met Jo through various challenges she hosts, including Christmas Kickstart and Let's Squash It!! where I'm a devoted player, plus the Card Chain Challenge - busy lady!!
You can still join us for the April 2022 Chain - just go HERE to sign up by April 6th. Thanks for visiting and have a crafty day!!

Love the card you made and sent, Linda! And how lovely to see my little card too - so glad it reached you! Thanks for your kind words and for being such a good friend and devoted player. Hugs, Jo x
You sent a lot of luck, a nice idea. And your card from Jo is so funny.
I'm sure Debbie loved her card, it's so beautifully done!
Great use of the colours on your card, love the pink plaid and the lovely card from Jo xx
I love how you've used the colors here - the pink gingham is so pretty behind your brown panel and the die cut green heart/clovers add a nice punch of color! xx
Hi, Linda! I just loved the sweet card you sent me for the Card Chain! It's gracing my craft table for inspiration! I so appreciate your kind words and agree that making cards has led to so many wonderful friendships, yours included. Hope you have a wonderful week. xoxo
saw this on the reveal.... it's fabulous Linda. Love the shamrocks and the green colourway is perfect.
I love the shamrocks! It's such a fun card. My mother in law adores cows so I am just tickled by the one you received as well. It's so hard not to want to buy ALL the stamps...
Fun use of the colors!
fun set of cards, linda. love your take on the sketch.
Both such cute cards! So glad CCC is still going strong! Can't remember if I said thank you for picking my card at DCD, but want to be sure you know how much I appreciate it!
Applause for managing usng both the sketch and the colors, that task seemed impossible to me. But you nailed it! AND the card turned out looking great!
