It's a beautiful Monday and I'm off all week - looking forward to some crafty times!! Today I spotted a new challenge from Wendy on Merry Monday to use pinecones, greens, and the word "believe". Well, I'm visiting my parents and didn't have any of my pinecones nor anything with the word "believe". So, I popped over to Michaels to shop for supplies. I didn't find any stamps with the required word so I decided on some fun glittery stickers (Michaels Reflections brand) to spell it out. I used a variety of fonts for some interest. The kraft paper with green dots is by American Crafts. Then I found a lovely clear stamp set from Inkadinkado (Evergreen Holiday) with pinecones and greens. I stamped the main image in brown ink on watercolor paper, then colored it with watercolor pencils. Added a few Stickles - done! Here's my creation:
Mom said she needs me to make her some cards but I couldn't resist squeezing in a Merry Monday card before I get started on them. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a crafty week too!!
