I whipped out this quick card this morning for the November Let's Squash It!! Challenge to stencil and emboss. I'm able to blog it while mom takes a nap & isn't grabbing my laptop for some online games!!
Supplies: Paper - DCWV A2 card, Neenah white
Embossing Folder - Cuttlebug (retired; name unknown)
Stencil - Sunny Studio Forest Trees
Dies - Spellbinders Snowflake Splendor
Inks - Distress Oxide Twisted Citron, Rustic Wilderness
and Pine Needles
Other - SSS holiday sentiment strips
I stenciled the three layers of trees using DOIs, then embossed. Trimmed to layer on card; added snowflake and sentiment strip - done!! Very quick and fun!
For a blast from the past, go HERE to see a card I made with this ef back in 2009! Sadly I didn't name it there either... Here's a bad photo (sorry) of the ef:
Thanks for visiting and have a wonderful day!!

sorry to hear about your Mom - she's so lucky to have you to take care of her - and love your card - I was stenciling some trees this afternoon too.
Just fantastic - fun combination with the folder and the stenciling. Hoping that your mother is on the mend.
Delightful Linda. It's a lovely folder and the stencilling is fabulous. Hope your Mum is feeling better. You are really a good daughter.
Sending healing vibes to your mom - what a shame for her! She is lucky to have you. Your card is gorgeous, What a perfect combo of EF and stencil. That's a gorgeous scene. Thanks for playing with us at Let's Squash It! Jo x
Hoping your mom is feeling better sooner rather than later. Sending hugs and good thoughts for healing for your mom and patience and love for you. Its hard taking care of a parent no matter how much we love them.
Your card is fabulous, one of my faves of the season.

Sending hugs and speedy recovery wishes to your mom. Love your card. Fabulous idea to use that tree line stencil. I have that stencil and a similar one from Pinkfresh Studio… don’t ask me why I needed both! 🙈😂 btw, congratulations in the HM at Let’s Squash It.
Hope your mum is on the mend Linda. Seems I missed this one first time round. Love the stencilled tree line and that is a lovely xmas EF. Thanks for joining the fun at Let's Squash It! Hugz
