I have feather stamps, stencils, you name it, but I ended up buying some 2014 Spellbinders feather dies. There's a little stamping store halfway between my house and my parents' house & I seem to stop there just about every week. Anyway, with the Twofer Feathers challenge on my mind I ended up with the new-to-me feathers dies.
Supplies: Paper - Core'dinations Ivory A2 card; Paper Studio brown & glitter; Poptone Bubblegum;
Pepples "Yours Truly" patterned paper; scrap of hot pink
Stamps - Hero Arts CL402 Valentine Sayings (retired); Sizzix 662347 Circle Sentiments
Dies - My Favorite Things Die-Namics Blueprints 20 (stitched rectangle) and some other (pinked circle);
Spellbinders S4-429 Peacock Feathers
Ink - Festive Berries & Gathered Twigs Distress Inks
Other - Hobby Lobby Valentine Puffy Stickers; Foam tape; May Arts string twine
On the card at left I die cut two of the feathers and embossed them using the die. On the right I used all four feathers in the set and embossed them into card stock using the Spellbinders rubber mat. Yay - now I've got two cards ready to use! Thanks to Darnell for the fun new challenge and I'm glad I got my cards made before the deadline!
Hope you're having a crafty day and thanks for stopping!

two wonderful cards, Linda - the embossing with the dies is a great idea and made such a great background for your card!!
Lovely Valentine Linda and I really like the embossed dies on your second card. Well done twofer!
You have two fabulous cards, Linda! I love the creative way you changed up the use of your die cuts! Your Valentine card is a great combination of hearts and feathers. I love the pink and black design of your thank you card. Thanks for joining in on the fun at Twofer Card Challenge!
Two lovely cards Linda.
Two lovely cards, Linda! The die cut feathers are fabulous layered with those sweet hearts ... and I love how you used the same die to impress the background on the second card, it's soft, delicate and dreamy! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Twofer! Anita :)
Fabulous with the TWOfers, Linda! Love the textures of the feather!! And the layering on the heart dies is awesome. VERY pleasing to the eyes!
How wonderful that you have a stamp store nearby, Linda! I miss stamp stores so much, but then again, it's prolly best for my budget that I don't have any! I love both your feather cards! Your layered Valentine is as charming as can be and your CAS thank you card is perfect for showcasing that new feather e/f! Both are great designs for using pp, too! Thank you for the shoutout and for joining in my first Twofer Card Challenge!! Hugs, Darnell
