January 2025 Card Chain Reveal

Hi everyone - today I'm sharing the card I sent for the January 2025 Card Chain. Twenty-six people participated and you can see the full reveal HERE. My card went to Daja (Zur Beruhigung) in Germany.

Supplies: Paper - Neenah Solar White;
Sunny Studio Critter Country (brown check); BoBunny Dotted;
Art Impressions Mini Birthday (gingham)
Spellbinders Betterpress Porcelain; scraps
Stamps w/dies - Hero Arts Studio Card Kit November 2024
My Favorite Things Stitched Blooms
Press Plates with Dies - Spellbinders A Little Message Sentiments
Other - Copic Markers; foam tape

We had these options for our cards:

Color Palette

Sketch Option

Theme Options: Moustaches / Cats / Friendship

Product / Technique Options: Scraps / Spinner Card

I went with the color palette, themes of cats & friendship, and product option of scraps. When I saw the theme of cats, I knew I wanted to use the Hero Arts November kit. It includes a stamp set full of peeking animals, plus dies of different objects for the animals to sit. I chose the tea cup for my kitty to peek from. I die cut the tea cup twice and pieced it, then shaded with Copics. Stamped, die cut and colored the kitty. Die cut some foliage and a flower from scraps. The sentiment was Betterpressed and die cut, plus a cut a shadow layer from another scrap.

I received this darling tri-fold card from Gail L (What's Normal?) in Canada. I just love the floating skater - thanks, Gail & also for the embossed panel you sent!!
