Happy World Card-making Day!

Hi everyone - hope you're enjoying World Card-making Day as much as I am! I've been making cards since this morning using some new goodies from Hero Arts and My Favorite Things. First up - a Halloween card:

Happy Halloween
Paper - My Mind's Eye Mischievous 6x6 pad (from 2011 - I've been hording it), the Paper Studio glitter,
Neenah black cardstock, orange is from Target's bargain bin
Other - craft google eyes and sequins

Thanks to Hero Arts for sending me this fabulous set, an add-on to September's My Monthly Hero (sold out). I went with the Christmas Trimmings add-on when I bought the kit and regretted not getting the Halloween set. Now I have it! Thanks again Hero Arts!! And if you don't have a set of stacking rectangle dies, Hero Arts' Infinity set is a great bargain - 16 dies from 4.25x5.5" down to .5x1.75" - LOVE!!

Next up, a friend card. In a couple weeks I'll be seeing a friend from California whom I haven't seen in a year. I made her this card:

I used a new-to-me My Favorite Things Die-namics Blueprints set (#8), along with a set (#20) I've had for a while and love, plus another Hero Arts Rectangle Infinity die and a Simon Says Stamp stitched rectangle (the large one). The darling leaves are from the September My Monthly Hero kit from Hero Arts - I finally got a chance to make some cards with the pile of leaves I've been cutting! Some of the papers I used to die cut the leaves came from Target's bargain bins. Card stock (Orange and green) is by Hero Arts and the glittery washi is Scotch tape from 3M. I have quite a few colors of this glittery washi and just love it! Doodlebug manufactured the enamel dots.

Thanks for stopping by and Happy World Card-making Day!!
