Woodgrain, Kraft & White at Merry Monday

Hi everyone - Busy week so I'm sharing a quick card made for the amazing Deanne's challenge at Merry Monday to use woodgrain, kraft and white on a Christmas card. Love this combo and the Design Team created some beauties for inspiration.

Here's my take on the challenge:

100_6679
Supplies: Paper - Authentique Winter (retired); Neenah Solar White; DCWV shimmer white
Stamps: Hero Arts CL906 Color Layering Dimensional Bird (sentiment); Woodgrain (on sled)
Die: Hero Arts DC184 Ribbon Messages; Silhouette Design #23704 Classic sled by Jennifer Wambach
Embossing folder: Darice Wood grain Background; May Arts string twine; clear embossing powder
Tools: Vagabond, Silhouette, corner rounder; Ink: Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Gathered Twigs, Antique Linen

Thought it would be fun to do a more masculine card so left it fairly plain. I dry embossed a piece of Authentique kraft paper for the left panel and used a kraft and white pattern from the same 6x6 pad for the right. I inked both pieces with Gathered Twigs Distress Ink. Then I die cut the sled on my Silhouette and cut a white mat for it. I stamped the sled with a woodgrain stamp and popped it onto the mat with foam tape. I die cut the banner & stamped and clear embossed the sentiment. This one would be super simple to mass produce as you can cut pages of the sled and mat with ease on the Silhouette.

Thanks for stopping by and have a Merry Monday!!
