Time for Trees!

Hey everyone - hope you're having a great week!  I finally had a chance to play with Kathy's challenge over on Merry Monday.  All we have to do is use a tree on a Christmas card - yay!

I have loads of tree stamps, dies, stencils - you name it.  But I thought right away about using this older Hero Arts trio of trees when it came time to make my card.

Supplies from Hero Arts:  Light pool folded card, Notebook Paper cling stamp (stamped in Cracked Pistachio) on the card, Labels and Messages (for the banner), and Three Tree Christmas (white embossed) for my trees.  Other:  I embossed the trees on Tim Holtz watercolor paper (sponged with Pine Needles and Cracked Pistachio Distress Ink and misted) and cut it out with Spellbinders Label Thirty-Six (I love this one).  I created a little belly band for the card using some Paper Studio and Basic Grey paper.

Here's the card:

  1. What a pretty design, Linda! You are smart to be doing Christmas cards a few at a time - what a relaxing Christmas you'll have next year when we're all running around like chickens!

I love your card, such beautiful trees and gorgeous inking on your card. I love the traditional colors, too...a perfect Christmas card all around!
