June Card Chain Challenge

Hi everyone - it's been awhile again since my last post.  Today I'm sharing what I made for the current Card Chain Challenge over at Lily Pad Cards.  You have until tomorrow 6/13 at 11:59 EST (US) to sign up and play along.  I love this activity because you get a card in the mail and my mailbox gets lonely if I don't play :)
I had a bit of trouble deciphering the color combo - just wasn't finding things to match it - so I went with the sketch which I like a lot!  I stamped flowers from Hero Arts CL496 Layered Flowers clear set onto patterned paper from Basic Grey's Lauderdale 6x6 pad.  Stamped the sentiment from Hero Arts CL380 Truly Appreciated clear set directly onto the card stock - Green Tea Linen from the Paper Company - and added some pearls.  Very easy but fun.  I just love chosing the different patterns to stamp and cut flowers, butterflies, whatever...

Hope you're having a crafty day!  I'm off to mow the lawn as soon as the dew dries but hope to work on some Father's Day cards later on.

  1. . . .and I'm having trouble with the sketch. Love what you've done with it, Linda! Pretty colors too! I think I may just have to go with the friendship theme this time. I'd better get going too. Deadline is tomorrow. Hope you've had a nice weekend! Hugs! :)
