Twofer Wreath Challenge - Take Two

Couldn't resist doing another pair for this month's Twofer Card Challenge featuring wreathes.

My common wreath element is a beauty from a Spellbinders Wreath Stamp & Die set. I colored one in more summery colors and the other in mostly dark reds & greens. For the Christmas card I added pine needles to some of the wreath's twiggy branches. Here's each card separately with supply list:

Supplies: Paper - Neenah Classic Crest Solar White;
DCWV Ms Sparkle pastel card
BoBunny Serendipity; Graphic 45 Botanical Tea
Dies - My Favorite Things Die-namics various Blueprints
Other - Copic Markers; Michael's gems; Hero Arts pearls;
Memento Rich Cocoa Ink

Supplies: Paper - Neenah Classic Crest Solar White; Paper Studio Glitter;
Lawn Fawn Spruce Notecard; Poptone Black Licorice
Other - Copic Markers; Stickles; Michael's ribbon;
Memento Tuxedo Black Ink

I'm adding the Christmas card to this week's Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: All That Glitters is Gold. With a friend on the Design Team (Lin) and friends playing along (Sally, Darnell & Heather as of this post), how could I not contribute?! Besides the gold bow and hanger, I used gold Stickles on the flowers. My Lawn Fawn is the card base - just love these smaller top-fold cards; I have oodles of them!!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a crafty week!!

Your first card is a model for how to layer patterned paper effectively, Linda! Wow! Love the summery greens backing your pretty wreath from Spellbinders! It makes a serene sympathy card. And paired with pine needles, it makes an excellent Christmas wreath, too! I love the overlapping glittery JOY die and the beautiful gold schparkly bow!! Thank you so much for playing again in Twofer Card Challenge #11! Hugs, Darnell

Oh these are two wonderful cards Linda! I love how you gave the wreath two completely different looks so it can be perfect on a summery or Christmas card. Love your design and pretty combination of patterned papers on the sympathy card. Your Christmas card is what it says - full of joy with the wonderful wreath and all the sparkling goodness on the ribbon and sentiment. I'm going to have to get cracking on my Christmas cards:)

What a drastic difference between the two wreaths with only a few changes in color and some extra pine! I love your layers of patterns on your sympathy card, and the way you "hung" your wreath with that gorgeous gold ribbon! Thanks for joining in the fun with us at the Twofer Card Challenge!

Linda, I'd say that wreath die is a beauty, and I love the papers you used for that first card. So glad you played along with this month's Twofer Wreath Challenge. :)

Those soft green layered patterns make for such a lovely serene background for your gently coloured wreath, Linda ... a lovely sympathy card. Your festive wreath is deliciously rich and luxurious ... yummy, vibrant colours and gorgeous shimmer! Thanks so much for playing along again with us at Twofer! Anita :)
